When Kids Say They're Trans is a fantastic resource! I love the nuanced, compassionate way you talk about the issue. It demonstrates that it is possible to be both compassionate and reality-based. It is a much needed breath of fresh air in an environment that can often feel suffocating. Thank you!!

This is a comment on the article about Dr 'Death' Macchiarini since I am not a subscriber I can't comment on that thread. What I want to say is that comparing gender treatment to the kind of things that doctor did is completely off the charts wrong. Whilst gender ideology and much of what we know about transgenderism is mere contagion the actual phenomenon of transsexualism does exist, see Ramachandran, Zhou, McGeoch, Bakkar and Diamond for the papers, including brain studies and separated twin studies.

When I tweeted to Genspect, to which organisation I believe you are affiliated, I received a reply to the effect that since I was a transsexual why was I approaching them, since they did not agree with the existence of my condition.

If you will not engage with the people that you are criticising then you are demonstrating how weak your case is.

It seems highly unlikely that anyone from Genspect responded to you in the manner you describe. Please feel fee to listen to our episodes with Aaron Terrell, Aaron Kimberly, Corinna Cohn, and Buck Angel.

If you've spoken to all of those people, then speak to me.

They did, whatever you might say.

What would you suggest they would have replied? How would you reply to someone like me who approached you then seeking to make distinctions?

Do you have an email contact where I could take this further? You haven't really addressed the points I make.

Hi I run Genspect and we’d like to hear more about this as it is certainly not in keeping with our ethos. Please email info@genspect.org and include the details so we can check it out, thank you

Well I eventually got an email reply and you told me to write to the 'Hello'@ email so I did that and got a polite reply saying that your podcasts were all booked up so thankyou for writing but call back again in a few months and see if there's any space. You did not engage, just slightly less obvious than the twix episode.

Frankly this looked like an attempt at a polite brush off, slightly more polite than the person who replied to me on twix saying you didn't believe in transsexualism so why was I contacting you.

I have reached out so as to engage. I am a serious person, I have written a serious book on this subject and I present serious evidence. I qualified as an Art Therapist over forty years ago and have worked in Psychiatric Nursing post transition.

Everything I see on your various sites takes a consistent line that transsexualism doesn't exist. Just because transgenderism has infected the minds of too many young people doesn't mean that the original transsexual syndrome doesn't exist.

If you won't engage with me you are demonstrating that you are ideological and doctrinaire. I have endorsements from two emeritus professors of Psychology. One wrote to me privately about my book '..full of good scholarship and clear thinking. Of course I agree with you.'

Others have told me that my book is the best researched one on the subject they have read or described my account as 'authentic'.

If you want to cover the full spectrum of research on this subject you will debate me. Your ideological approach fails to look at the evidence I bring to the table.

It was last year at least six months ago on twitter. I'd struggle to find the actual exchange but it happened. I reached out to the Genspect account saying that I was a transsexual woman who had written a book on the subject which differs with both the gender ideology and hard gencrit lines on this subject. The reply was something like 'Why are you contacting us, we don't approve of that'. Clearly didn't understand that I myself am critical of gender ideology and make it perfectly clear in my book The War on Gender ~ Postmodernism and Trans Identity. I take a neurodevelopmental model view of transsexualism as supported by the work of Professor VS Ramachandran and Dr Milton Diamond.

Since I am on neither polar side of the debate I am shunned by both despite my work being respected by those who have read it. https://www.amazon.co.uk/War-Gender-Postmodernism-Trans-Identity/dp/1914208811/ref=sr_1_1?crid=30RJ7RPMXPI22&keywords=the+war+on+gender&qid=1654197847&sprefix=%2Caps%2C95&sr=8-1

I wrote an email to Stella O'Malley earlier today, I thought this notification was a response. I see you have had podcasts with a number of gender critical speakers and I would like to offer my own analysis of a situation where I seem to find myself as a transsexual under attack. If you truly want to debate the issue, then debate me.

So is this book promoting what is called 'Conversion Therapy'? I believe in neither 'conversion' or 'affirmation' but in allowing and helping people work it out for themselves.

This book is not about conversion therapy. It's not even really about therapy. It's about parenting your child through distress.

I've seen a podcast where Stella seems to be saying that gender dysphoria isn't real or can be ended. Much of this stuff out there is contagion, but there is also the real thing and she seemed to be saying it wasn't.

The transgender craze is a social meme which many children are in danger of picking up because it is promoted heavily by various agencies and the media and indeed by some misguided parents.

However, *transsexualism* does exist, and is what the transgender/queer theory advocates have picked up on in order to provide some basis to their excesses. As CS Lewis said, a lie is most effective when perverting a core of truth.

I am transsexual and have written about this in my book The War on Gender ~ Postmodernism and Trans Identity which can be found on Amazon. I would be very happy to do a podcast conversation with someone from A Wider Lens to discuss this subject. I agree with much of what you say but there are those of us for whom this has been of benefit.

I have a Substack page with some items that you can read also I am on YT, Bitchute and Rumble as Cosmic Claire where I have posted a number of podcasts and interviews in which I explain my position, which is highly nuanced and conforming to neither extreme side.
