She recently completed her fourth term in the Texas House of Representatives, served as Vice-Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee, and was a member of the House Energy Resources Committee. Known as a “voice for the voiceless,” she authored over 80 impactful bills during her legislative service, consistently advocated for mental health, and earned recognition as one of Houston's top 30 most influential women.
