Stella & Sasha - I would LOVE it if you could do a spin off series aimed at teens/young adults where you explore things like the recent Anxiety pod, but only focus on it in a very LGBT friendly way where the critics can't say "they have transphobic guests" etc. I don't know if I'm explaining myself very well. I'm thinking I'd love to send my teen one of your pods, but they'll look at the title and previous guests and dismiss it. Or perhaps one of your contacts could do a similar pod - or maybe there's already something out there you could recommend? Or a youtube channel?

I occasionally listen to The Art of Manliness. It’s a mixed bag. Sometimes it’s a bit business book, sometimes it’s utterly profound. It often features Navy Seals and people like that. One of my favorite stories I picked up from it was of navy seals who were going through the last ordeal in f their basic training. Imagine a war game sort of situation where it’s dark, there’s freezing rain. The recruits have no food. They have had no sleep in forever. They are all at the breaking point, and there are people taunting them to surrender.

“It’s nice and dry over here!! We just finished a steak dinner, and now we’re about to have ice cream!”

And then one of the recruits pipes up… “You got Rocky Road???”

And the seal guy said the humor just broke the tension and they all started giggling. He said he knew at that point they were all going to make it through.

I think about that story a lot. I’d have never heard it if I hadn’t listened.

So manly? Yes, but I like it too!
