Oh my goodness, what a hard listen this last part was. I'm only almost 1 year in this utter nightmare. Finding peace within, in the face of the destructiveness of this ideology seems the healthiest way forward, but oh how hard.
What resonated with me most is the discussion that brain changes will occur from “any” drug use that takes place in early adolescence, that will then impact and lower the desistance rate in later adolescence.
I would like to begin a conversation, or research, about the high prescriptions of psychotropics in our society for children, primarily ADHD medications, and how their use may be impacting the ROGD explosion as well as the desistance rates.
Wonderful comment at the end about how we need to take responsibility and be honest, not only about what we got right, not only about gender issues. Model honesty and integrity for our kids, ourselves, and our world.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Keep taking care of you. Oxygen mask on you, at all times.

Absolutely, there is an earlier episode in which this is discussed re SSRIs and the rise in 'asexuality' for example, which makes so much sense.
Any idea which episode? I’d love to take a look.
It's the episode with Freya India. This particular part of the conversation is in the premium episode here: https://www.widerlenspod.com/p/premium-is-it-asexuality-or-is-it
Wow, I love what she’s bringing up!
