Sasha and Stella, this podcast has been the Town Center that has brought an entire community together. The community of those grounded in reality. It's been a true light through this dark gender mess. I hope you can have reunion episodes from time to time. Sasha, I'm excited for the work you will be doing and the positive impact you will have on young people. Stella, I am totally on the same page as you. I think about the big picture a lot, and the societal impact too. I made a sorta sarcastic list with a few poignant quotes and reflections on the transgender Supreme Court extravaganza here in the US, and tried to process why there is something bigger and more nefarious happening. Young people just trying to be counter culture and push social norms, adult AGP's seizing the moment, the virtue signaling social status and political gains and of course the revenue incentives are the small picture items, I'm sorry to say:

1. “When you are tolerant of even the most repugnant ideas—when you are tolerant of intolerance—your society is destined to fail.” Andrew Gold

2. 'Immutable' will be a pivotal term in Supremes decision making.

3. What is the lasting impact of elevating these absurd ideas and having to defend that sex in real?

4. ACLU lawyer, Chase Strangio, knows that 'transkid' is a made up political identity. How did she get in the door of SCOTUS and was she hyped up on "T"?

5. How did we get here that justices and lawyers are discussing if stunting growth is a human right?

6. Are they really saying puberty is a choice and a child should have the right to chose?

7. The protranskids activists think that we, the non believers, are RACIST.

8. Evidently, we (nonbelievers in genderqueer theory) are part of the western binary narrative that oppresses the TQ+++.

9. To show allegiance to the resistance (per DEI programs), the TQ++++ will not adhere to the white oppressive colonizer idea of only 2 sexes.

9.5 "Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities" Voltaire

10. Because we nonbelievers/nonsupporters exist, we deny their existence and that is like wanting trans genocide. (now we start to connect the dots with CAIR and the "resistance")

11. True believers know that the foundation of western civilization is trans-queer kryptonite.

12. ACLU are wacko minions that help manage the cult members as they build their utopia.

13. “There can be no resolution to the big problems of our age if we lose confidence in our history and the story of Western civilization. Everything depends on it” Kemi Badenoch

Has this entire transgenderism "queer" movement been orchestrated by bad actors to radicalize The West and create Useful Idiots?

Stella saying "If you follow me" could certainly be a GWL Bingo/drinking game category. Well, I would follow both of you to any platform with any focus without hesitation. I am so thankful for the last four years of content and so excited to follow the different directions in which you both go. And I'm also so relieved and thrilled that the Dynamic Duo will still be together monthly in an intriguing and more "spouting off" format.

I've said it before and I will say it again how much this podcast helped me accept that I wasn't a horrible person for questioning gender ideology. It was my lifeline whenever I started to worry that I was a bad person for thinking this way because so many people in my social circle are captured by this movement and Friday mornings when a new episode would drop were the breath of fresh air that helped me through 2021 and 2022. Seeing that you both are caring, compassionate and competent people and how the people you interviewed were also motivated by care and concern was the reality check I needed to get through the horrible aftermath of being vilified by my sister for being a biological realist and during that period when the world was very much in the thrall of gender ideology and had not yet started to wake up.

Things are at the point now where I am a lot more secure in my beliefs and I don't need the lifeline like I used to. That said, I've started to think of gender ideology in terms of being Rasputin like for its ability to sustain killing blow after killing blow while still not dying that fact of the matter is that it is on the ropes there is still work to do. It is thanks to your brave and pioneering work that we are even at this point though.

So I'm sad to hear that it's ending and I'm relieved to hear about your new projects and looking forward to checking them out. I get overwhelmed when I think about giving feedback on what to highlight. I'll have to think and reflect and come back to this.

Thank you for this podcast and your hard work. It helped ground me, challenged a lot of ideas I had even internalized because I'd never seen them adequately fact checked (such as the trans suicide myth) and helped me turn a crisis into an opportunity for growth.

I started this episode a little sad, but at the end I was very happy for you both. I live on the left coast where discussing trans issues is verboten. You two have been a great support while my son has descended into this madness. Best of luck!

Exciting news, the new projects sound excellent and a great way of moving forward with how things are changing. As a newbie to all this, these podcasts have been brilliant especially during some very sad times so thank you both for being the voices of reason when it comes to understanding what is going on with the children and young people and I look forward to hearing all the new stuff.

It's great that you are still catching up monthly, I love hearing two grown ups have discussions, and even more when you disagree on a topic (and don't want to yell at each other like most of society!). But, please please please record them for substack. I'm in Australia and I guarantee that any live session you do will not be in the hours that I'm able to listen. Please!

I second this! I always find I'm never available when live streams are happening, regardless of the time zone! Please record them!

Congratulations on what you have achieved. I think the podcast has been invaluable for so many to learn about gender. The shows gave me a chance to learn, reflect and grow my understanding of the gender space. Such moving episodes, particularly interviews with detransitioners. I think of Corinna Cohn @heterodorks describing how he reconciled that he would never be a woman. Sasha Bailey @Saschabailey and the insights he shared. So many episodes challenged me and made me have to work to get my thinking clear. Above all, two really smart, compassionate women providing a way forward for many. You put up guard rails that will be used for years to come. Very grateful MJM

This is such an inspiring shift for both of you. There is so much content in your previous episodes for ‘newbies’ to dig through (sad to say there are still new families joining us). Curiosity is where innovation and awareness happens and I see it bursting out of both of you in excitement about the future. I don’t know how we would have navigated the past three years without this podcast. It’s because of wider lens that I packed up our family and moved to Europe. It has been a good move for us. We’ve learned to embrace uncertainty yet enjoy each day. There are rocky days and I still don’t know how everything will shake out but I’m glad we took the risk. A huge thank you to both of you. I will think about what I would love to hear more about but Sasha’s plan is so exciting. I would love to steer our teen your direction … and curious how you will capture the attention of that cohort! Stella, I’m so there with you. It’s a fascinating time in society, I’m eager to hear more. Thanks ladies! 🥰

I appreciate this episode. I have been feeling like this podcast was moving away from being helpful for me, a parent of a trans-ID child, to more helpful for people not personally involved to understand what's going on. I am excited about Sasha's project and glad that Stella is continuing to help people understand what is happening at large in society. Thank you both for your work.

I really appreciate the work you have done with this podcast. It has been so great to have two smart women with so much experience bringing their best to this issue and sharing their time, energy, and thoughts. It has been a lifeline in a crazy world. Thank you for the work you have done, and for your courage in challenging the narrative. It has made a difference! I love the new directions you are describing. I love Sasha's interest in identity development on an individual level. I do think so much of this issue comes back to the universal human coming of age dilema of moving from a time of infinite potential to a time of having to be a finite and fallible person. We all have "dysphoria" when we contemplate the gap between who we wish to be and our limitations. LIterature and philosophy used to be important tools that the world offered. Now we offer the cheap, decoy answer of trans, telling us that the world owes it to us to see us the way we wish we were and all will be solved. And Stella's exploration of the social forces that are at work will be fascinating and important. I look forward to your future work. Thank you!!

Love love love the idea of the unfiltered episodes. I am crossing my fingers for a recording of these sessions. I have followed you both from the beginning and am full of gratitude for the time, care, and attention you have both put in each episode. Given that you asked about ideas for the unfiltered and there are only 12 months a year. I would love to see "buckets" or "themes". Perhaps: legal issues, medical issues, young adults, personal stories, etc... 1 for each month with an intro of current events if possible. Just my two cents. Grateful!

I think this is a brilliant decision. You started this podcast asking a big, confusing question, and you have answered it. Nothing new has been said for the last half a year, we are just finding better ways to present the information, so it absolutely makes the format of the podcast obsolete. However, I do look forward to hearing your own discussions, you both always bring such insight and compassion, two things generally lacking in most discourse today.

Both your future projects are perfect and much needed. Can't wait.

Merry Christmas to you both.

“Happy and sad at the same time” — lyrics by Kacey Musgraves…

Sasha and Stella - you are two of the most intelligent, thoughtful, fabulous ladies that I know. You will never know how important your podcast, your expertise and interviews have been for me since I found you exactly 2 years ago. Your voices comfort me. I was desperately seeking information and help when I googled ‘what to do when your child says they are trans?’ I was brand new to podcasts and Spotify. A few options came up, but not many. I knew yours was THE ONE immediately. You are my people. I listen and read endlessly to multiple sources but you are my staple. Thank you.

I am excited for your next ventures and I need them both! I, too, am fascinated by the macro of ‘how we got here’, the societal, psychological and political phenomenon. I love understanding the roots of things and I am thrilled to here more from Mia Hughes!

But, to help my daughter here and now, I also need the micro level work of Sasha’s plan and her valuable insights on communicating with fragile children and uninformed adults.

I am SO looking forward to the Substack interviews! I think they will be lively, eye opening and fun. Thank you for every episode of GWL. You have made me laugh and cry, but more importantly you have educated me and given me the knowledge and courage to trust my gut instincts about my daughter’s declaration. Additionally, you have given me the gift of wonderful parents from our time in Annapolis. Such a gift.

I wish you all the best in your next endeavors. ❤️
